Most Pizza Places are great at offering vegetarian options to their customers, but I have been eating at Papa Johns a lot lately, so I am going to talk about them exclusively. Although much of what is mentioned here can be mentioned about almost every Pizza Place, including Pizza Hut and Dominos.
Of course, you can make your own Pizza any way you wish, but in terms of menu options, Papa Johns has:
- Garden Fresh
- Spinach Alfredo
- Tuscan 6 Cheese
- Mediterranean Veggie
- Garlic Knots
- Parmesan Breadsticks
And that is not including the giant cookie, the brownie, and the cinnamon knots that Papa Johns has on its desserts menu.
You can also get sauces to go with your order. These include Marinara, Garlic Sauce, Cheese Sauce, Blue Cheese, Bar-B-Q, Buffalo, Ranch, and Honey Mustard sauce. These sauces are often small though, and the main sauce that comes with every box is the creamy garlic sauce.
I often dislike plain cheese pizza, so I am always glad to get a 3 topping medium pizza, or a 5 topping large pizza. The best part about it is that I can just pile on Olives, Green peppers, Onions, Pineapple, Mushrooms, and/or Tomatoes. You can also add on Extra Cheese if that is your forte, and/or if you are a lacto or lacto-ovo vegetarian.
The main issue is with people who can’t exactly digest cheese. You can ask for your pizza without cheese, but pizza without cheese just tastes bad, imo. But hey, you have that option.
The main issue with Pizza Hut is that the only Protein Substitution they have is extra cheese. But it is a protein substitution so I’ll include it in as one.
